Since my business is almost entirely referral based, I tend to develop long term relationships with all my clients. Here are some of the questions that come up over time that I thought I would share with you.
"Whatīs my background?"
Born and raised in Oregon, I attended Oregon State University. Upon graduation, I accepted a commission in the Marine Corps which gave me the opportunity to live in numerous other places around the US and the world.
I then spent the next few years in corporate America working in management and sales. The benefit to my clients, is that I can talk first hand about the benefits of moving to Portland and the positive impact it had on my family's quality of life.
"Why did I get into real estate?"
Two reasons. First, I saw it as a way where I could positively impact the lives of people. A home is a large part of a personīs life and is a very emotional purchase. What better way to touch people. Secondly, I wanted to keep my clients for life. I wanted to create and maintain a relationship with them where they would not only use me again, but refer me to everyone they know.
"What do I do in my free time?"
When Iīm not spending time with my wife and two daughters, Iīm always looking for new challenges. I love to play soccer and ski, but my main focus right now is triathlons.
